Consulting

Recommended for brands new to producing with artisans or in Guatemala, we share with you what we’ve learned about working with artisans in Guatemala over the last 7 years. In these calls we can discuss your vision and goals and the steps required to achieve them in collaboration and with consideration for the artisan partner you partner with.

Design

Are you inspired by what you see in Guatemala (or beyond), but not sure how to translate it to a physical product?  Design and Tech Packs are crucial to save time and money on sample making. We can help you illustrate your vision and make it clear for your factory or artisan partner.

Product Development

We define product development (or sampling) as the most crucial step for producing in Guatemala. This is where you establish realistic timelines, quality standards, and fair pricing for your product. Set your brand up for a smooth order and do it in time for your sales deadlines with this service.

Quality Control Inspections

If you have already been matched to, or already work with an artisan group and want to ensure your next order matches your quality expectations, we recommend this service. With three check-ins with the artisan, we can catch potential quality control issues from the beginning and address it during the production process.

Production Tracking Retainer

Avoid being caught by surprise and keep your production on track with a weekly check in. Depending on your brand’s needs, we do a weekly check in with your artisan partners and send you a report on their progress. If the order fall behind, we can strategize together how to get back on track!

Troubleshooting visit in person

If there is a problem with production that you need help resolving, but aren’t currently in Guatemala, have no fear! We can travel in person to discuss the issue with the artisans and do our best to help resolve the issue and establish protocol to avoid it in the future.
